What Is The Answer To The Universe?

The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything has a numeric solution in Douglas Adams' series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In the story, a "simple answer" to The Ultimate Question is requested from the computer Deep Thought - specially built for this purpose - and it takes it 7½ million years to compute and check the answer - 42. Then asked to provide The Ultimate Question, the computer says "no". The programmers then embark on a further, ultimately futile, ten million year program to discover The Ultimate Question, hindered by Golgafrinchans after 8 million years, and in the last five minutes by the Vogons.


Okay, that's Doug's answer in a nutshell from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.   Now I'm certain that the links provided above will undoubtably lead to more questions until ulitmately concluding itself in  disambiguated debate on syntax.  So let me save you all kinds of time and frustration.


The true answer is 9.


I'm not even going to get into the Why's and How's.  It's just 9.  So forget 42.  Besides Douglas Adam's may or may not have had a substance abuse problem. 


I have spent an abundance time in my "special place" also called "Deep Thought" to assertain the correct and final answer to the universe and again it is 9.
